Four years ago, we got a chance to see The Power of the Daleks for the first time in 50 years. Now Charles Norton and the team have revisited the original animation and given it an upgrade.

There are two areas where the animation’s upgrade are most apparent – the opening episode, and the character of Lesterson. Pretty much everything is new in the former, with considerably more detail than we had before.

As well as considerably improved animation, there are also a heap of new extras – including a period-accurate recreation of the infamous production line sequence.
