The real Avengers – that’s Steed and Mrs Peel – are back in action, investigating the theft of Cake. No, sorry, investigating a theft from CAKE – that’s one of the many acronymical organisations that populate their world.

Dan Starkey has adapted the TV Comic story for the latest release, and it’s directed by Sam Clemens, son of Avengers supremo Brian Clemens.

It’s a suitably madcap tale with a tattooed lady with a lot of other extra talents, an immodest mastermind, and plenty of excitement
