He may have swapped his Revoluionary War garb for the tatters of those trapped in The Tail, but Hamilton’s Daveed Diggs is still a force to be reckoned with in the new Snowpiercer TV series.

Based on the original French graphic novel and the 2013 film, Snowpiercer is a 101-car train ploughing through a frozen wasteland with the last of humanity on board. Diggs plays Layton, a former cop, who’s called to investigate a horrible murder – and uncovers the secrets of the train.

The series is heading for the end of the first season, but can be caught on TNT in the US, and Netflix elsewhere in the world.
