This weekend, 27/28 June, new on-line film festival The  Monsterflix Awards is taking place.

The organisers has brought together a host of incredible new horror & science fiction – films, shorts and web series – all  available free to view.

The Doctor Who spin-off Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor has been chosen in the Best Web Series category and Reeltime Pictures are encouraging fans to support your local slimy Thoros-Betan and vote for it.

Each category has five nominated programmes or films and will have one  single edited video track made of the 5 selected projects. Amongst the  BEST WEB SERIES will be Episode One of SIL and there will be vote  interface under each section of categories and viewers will be able to simply click for their favourite title and vote.

Producer and director Keith Barnfather told Sci-Fi Bulletin, “Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor has had an incredible run at this  year’s film festival circuit, with 29 awards so far! But Monsterflix is the first festival that allows the audience to  participate in the voting … so, for me, it has added value. If you’re a fan, please vote for Sil and let’s fly the Doctor Who flag out there, especially as there’s no programme to watch right now!
