Two film spin-off series have been purged at USA Network – The Purge and gritty spy show Treadstone.

Despite a strong performance in its first season, The Purge’s numbers fell for its second year, while Treadstone never gained sufficient traction. The Purge was an adjunct to the very successful film series, while Treadstone’s title referred to the organisation that used Jason Bourne in the popular Matt Damon movies. Both were distributed outside the US by Amazon Prime, but these deals didn’t offset the viewership problems, according to Deadline.
