Wally K Daly, whose many scripts included the unproduced Doctor Who season 23 story The Ultimate Evil, has died aged 79
Toby Hadoke reported the news. Daly was a prolific author of radio plays, with his science fiction work including a trilogy Before the Screaming Begins, The Screaming Starts, and With a Whimper to the Grave, which featured amongst its cast Patrick Troughton, James Laurenson, Donald Hewlett, Maureen O’Brien and Hannah Gordon.
He novelised his Doctor Who script for Target’s Missing Episodes range, and he eventually adapted the story for Big Finish’s Lost Stories range.
