Another new Star Wars series is in preparation for Disney+ – this time courtesy of Russian Doll’s Leslye Headland.

According to the trades, the plot is under wraps but  it is “understood to be a female-driven action thriller with martial arts elements and set in an alternate timeline from the usual Star Wars universe.”

Assuming it goes ahead, the show will join The Mandalorian, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, and a Rogue One prequel on the streaming channel.
