Peter Capaldi’s Doctor makes his debut in the tweetalong #DoctorWhoLockdown events, organised by Emily Cook, with a global rewatch of Heaven Sent on Tuesday 14 April.

The rewatch will remain at 8pm BST (as for The Doctor’s Wife), and will mark Capaldi’s birthday.

Steven Moffat, director Rachel Talalay and guest star Jami Reid-Quarrell will be taking part, with the hashtag this time #HellofaBird. Artist Mike Collins has promised to add storyboards to his feed as the episode progresses.

Cook adds, “The brilliant people working to create this content are all lending their time and talent for free. I hope their generosity will inspire people enjoying this new Doctor Who content to make a donation to the COVID-19 Film and TV Emergency Relief Fund. Set up by the BFI and The Film and TV Charity, this fund will help support the creative community which has been devastated by the Coronavirus pandemic.” More details here
