A Kickstarter for Jonathan Green’s sixth ACE Gamebook has launched on Kickstarter – and if you get in quickly, there’s an early special reward.
Dracula – Curse of the Vampire is an interactive Gothic horror novel inspired by the works of Bram Stoker. In this adventure gamebook – a multi-path book, very much in the style of Choose Your Own Adventure or Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks – you choose the course of the story, deciding which routes to take, which perils to risk, and which of the terrifying creatures you will meet along the way to fight. Dracula – Curse of the Vampire will be the sixth title in the ongoing ACE Gamebooks series. The book will be illustrated throughout by gamebook fantasy art legend Martin McKenna.
Dracula – Curse of the Vampire is available to backers of this Kickstarter in three different formats – eBook (which will include hyperlinks), paperback, and a special limited edition collector’s hardback, which will include artist’s sketches and designer’s notes presented in a special bonus chapter at the back.
The gamebook contains an introduction, all the rules you need to play, the adventure itself, a host of illustrations, and an Adventure Sheet for recording your stats as you work your way through the story.
Everyone who backs the Dracula – Curse of the Vampire Kickstarter before 1300 GMT on March 2nd to receive a physical copy of the book, will also receive a copy of The Grim and Gothic Art of Martin McKenna for free!
