The third new Star Trek live action series is set to begin film in Canada in May, reports are indicating.

The series, based around the black ops Section 31 and starring Michelle Yeoh, will see Phillippa Georgiou “put to the test” in ways that Discovery couldn’t, according to Star Trek supremo Alex Kurtzman. Bo Yeon Kim and Erika Lippoldt are expected to be showrunners.
