Picard will continue to boldly go, after confirmation that the show will be returning for a second season.

The series has been allocated the highest ever California state tax credit for its second year, which Deadline Hollywood suggests could move into production early in 2020. The first season debuts on 23 January on CBS All Access and the next day on Amazon Prime.
