Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

There’s a chance to catch up with two famous British icons of the post-war period this Christmas on Radio 4 Extra.

Ian Fleming’s 007 hits the airwaves first on the morning of December 21 with a repeat of Toby Stephens as James Bond in From Russia, With Love, first aired in 2012. Mark Gatiss and Eileen Atkins are the masterminds behind the plot to discredit the British Secret Service. Thunderball, Goldfinger and Moonraker will also be repeated in the week before Christmas.

Dan Dare is not far behind. There’s an opportunity to hear the B7 Media documentary 21st Century Spaceman in the evening of December 21 followed by the station premiere of the second volume of Dan’s adventures, beginning with Simon Guerrier’s Reign of the Robots.
