NBC Universal’s streaming service, Peacock, will include the premieres of the new version of Brave New World, and the latest revival of the Battlestar Galactica franchise.

David Weiner’s adaptation of the Aldous Huxley novel is described thus: “Based on Aldous Huxley’s groundbreaking 1932 novel, Brave New Worldimagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself”, while the Galactica simply reads, “Battlestar Galactica returns to television with Sam Esmail producing.” The 2003 reboot of the Glen A. Larson show will also be available.

“All of our choices, especially in the beginning, we are doing them strategically so they connect back to our legacy,” Bonnie Hammer explained. The series will begin next autumn, after Peacock streams coverage of the 2020 Olympics.
