The 45th annual Saturn Awards were presented on September 13 with Marvel taking home a large number of trophies.
Avengers: Endgame did predictably well, winning Best Comic-To-Film Award, Best Actor for Robert Downey Jr., Best Supporting Actor for Josh Brolin, Best Visual Effects, Best Film Editing (Jeffrey Ford and Matthew Schmidt), and Best Production Design (Charles Wood).
Spider-Man: Far From Home brought trophies for Tom Holland as Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Film, and Zendaya for Best Actress.
Marvel supremo Kevin Feige won the first ever Stan Lee World-Builder Award, and Jon Favreau was given the Visionary Award.
Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb and Supernatural’s Eric Kripke were both given the Dan Curtis Legacy Award.
Daredevil won the Best Streaming TV Series while Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse was the Best Animated Movie.
A Quiet Place won Best Horror Film, with US‘s Jordan Peele won Best Director. Midsommar’s Ari Aster won Best Breakout Director.

Game of Thrones was Best TV Fantasy Series, with Emilia Clarke Best TV Actress and Peter Dinklage Best Supporting Actor on TV. Maisie Williams won Best Younger Actor on TV.
The Walking Dead was acclaimed the Best Horror Series on TV, with Danai Gurira Best Supporting Actress on TV, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan Best TV Guest Star.
Supergirl was the Best Superhero TV Series, with Westworld the Best SF Series.
Best Streaming Series was Star Trek: Discovery, with Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones winning Best Streaming Actress and Best Supporting Actor respectively.
Best Actor in a Streaming Series was Henry Thomas in The Haunting of Hill House; Maya Hawke won Best Supporting Actress for Stranger Things and the show won Best Streaming Horror Series.
Star Wars Resistance was Best Animated Series while Better Call Saul (the Breaking Bad prequel) won Best Action Series.
The Best Blu-ray or DVD Special Edition Release went to Waterworld.
