Three new series and a lot of crossover characters from the MCU in the already-announced shows were the highlights of the revelations from Marvel at D23.

Bruce Banner isn’t the only gamma radiation-affected member of the MCU, with news that She-Hulk -aka Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters – is getting her own show. So too is Ms Marvel, with Bisha K. Ali hired to write and showrun the new series.  And Moon Knight finally comes to the screen.

Jeffrey Wright will play the Watcher in the animated What If? series scheduled for 2021: “I am the Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities,” Wright said in a voiceover played at the expo. “Follow me and dare to face the unknown and ponder the question, what if?”

Wyatt Russell will play John Walker in the Falcon & The Winter Soldier show coming autumn 2020 – the character was introduced as the Super Patriot in the Captain America comics.

Spring 2021’s WandaVision will see Teyonah Parris playing an older version of Monica Rambeau (introduced as a child in Captain Marvel), with Kat Dennings reprising her role from Thor as Darcy Lewis and Randall Park returning as Jimmy Woo, the detective seen in the Ant-Man films.
