South African author Deon Meyer’s apocalyptic tale Fever is coming to the small screen, courtesy of Sid Gentle, the producers behind Killing Eve.
The Crown’s Ed Hemming is scripting the adaptation which is described as a story “set in the near future about a relationship between a father and son after a fever has wiped out 97% of the population.” The book has been a bestseller around the world.
Meyer noted on Twitter, “Can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am about the FEVER TV series prospects”
