After plans for a feature film centring on Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi were dropped, it seems as if the venerable Jedi Knight’s adventures will now be on the new Disney+ streaming service.

McGregor is in talks with Disney to reprise the role he played in four Star Wars films and if the series gets a green light, it will be the third confirmed live action Star Wars TV series, after The Mandalorian, which launches in November, and the Cassian Andor and K-2S0 series set for next year.
