THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED
Inspired by the frontispiece artwork from the 1973 Doctor Who Annual, renowned artist Alister Pearson and his colleague David Lavelle have created this image to celebrate Jon Pertwee’s centenary – and you have the chance to win one of only three prints of it in existence.
The print measures 411mm x 266mm, the same height as the Annual image and slightly wider.
It was created using Alister’s portrait from the reprint book cover of Terrance Dicks’ Carnival of Monsters and an adapted version of the body element in the original 70s published artwork.
To win this limited edition print, simply answer the following question:
Who was the last person to direct Jon Pertwee for an official BBC Doctor Who story?
A) Peter Moffat
B) Stuart MacDonald
C) Phil Clarke
Simply send your answer – A, B, or C – to scifibulletin@gmail.com with the subject line VENUSIAN AIKIDO along with your name and address and the following code (which will change regularly) 009, to arrive before 0001 BST on Thursday July 11, 2019. This competition is open to readers worldwide. Please note that the terms and conditions below have been updated as highlighted.
