Fox has renewed its SF series The Orville for a third season.
The show, produced and starring Seth MacFarlane, was one of the last to receive renewal this season, leading to fears that Fox’s reputation for getting rid of genre shows might continue.
There’s no confirmation yet on how many episodes will be in this season, although an order for a further 13 would be most likely.
