Details on the 25th official James Bond film are now being released.
The movie, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, will be Daniel Craig’s last as Ian Fleming’s secret agent, James Bond and is set for release on April 8, 2020. The script is written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Rami Malek has been confirmed as one of the leads, with Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Naomie Harris and Jeffrey Wright returning. Other new cast are Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, David Dencik, and Lashana Lynch.
Locations include Jamaica since Bond won’t be on active service at the start of the movie. THe official description reads:
“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
Some shooting in Norway has already taken place, and then they will be heading to Italy as well as Pinewood Studios.
There is not a title as yet.
