Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Anthony Horowitz’s junior spy Alex Rider will be played by Otto Farrant in the new Sony TV series.

The Mrs Wilson star will appear in the eight-episode series, directed by Andreas Prochaska, who told Deadline, “We met a lot of people for the role of Alex Rider, but when Otto entered the room, there was something magical about him. He has the perfect combination of youth and skilfulness, innocence and professionalism, to bring this iconic character to the screen.”

The story will pick up from the second book in the series, Point Blanc.
