Alan Tudyk will be reprising his role as K-2SO in the new Star Wars prequel series coming to Disney+.
He will star alongside Diego Luna in the new show that sets up the characters for the standalone Rogue One movie.
Disney confirmed that production on the other live action Star Wars show, The Mandalorian, is now finished, with a short sizzle reel shown to investors. That series is set after The Empire Strikes Back.
The whole Star Wars saga – from the original 1977 movie up to Episode IX – will eventually be available via the streaming service. It’s not confirmed whether the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special will also be included!
