Netflix is working on a new version of the Resident Evil franchise, according to a report at Deadline.

Details are scarce, but since the movie series concluded with The Final Chapter in 2016, rights holders Constantin have looked for new ways to continue a dramatized version, with Johannes Roberts hired to work on a reboot for the cinema. The plan for the Netflix show would be to expand the universe, while still retaining the series’ signature look.
