In the least surprising piece of news so far in 2019, the CW has ordered a pilot for Batwoman, to be directed by David Nutter.

The character made her small screen debut in the Elseworlds crossover event at the end of 2018, and was a hit immediately. Ruby Rose will reprise her role from the earlier episodes, with Greg Berlanti hoping for yet another show for the Arrow-verse.
