Ryan Coogler will write and direct the next solo adventure of Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther for Marvel.
Although technically the character is dead – thanks to Thanos’ actions at the end of Avengers: Infinity War – along with others, he is expected to be resurrected in some way during the untitled Avengers sequel out next summer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Coogler is expected to work on the script next year, with production starting late 2019 or early 2020.
