Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg has been tapped to prepare a female-led superhero show for ABC.

This will be the first season for many years that there’s not a Marvel show in ABC’s fall line-up – series 6 of Agents of SHIELD will air next year – but the network is confirming its desire to keep Marvel on the network small screen (despite the failure of Inhumans). According to Deadline, the new show has a production commitment, but as yet there’s no confirmation as to which superheroes will feature.
