The stars of the first and most recent Star Trek series accepted the Governors Award at the Creative Emmys, celebrating 52 years of the iconic series created by Gene Roddenberry (and 45 years of its first sequel, the animated series).
William Shatner and Sonequa Martin-Green accepted the trophy, accompanied by cast members from the other series: Levar Burton (TNG), Terry Farrell (DS9), Jeri Ryan (Voyager) and Linda Park (Enterprise), with Shatner’s colleague Walter Koenig and Discovery’s executive producer Alex Kurtzman.
“I accept this award for all of the artists who have worked to make this show a success,” Shatner said.
