Although overshadowed by the news of James Gunn’s departure from the MCU, there was plenty of positive Marvel news from San Diego Comic Con.

Freeform’s Cloak & Dagger is getting a second year, and the Marvel panel included a sneak preview of the final two episodes (obviously there are spoilers for earlier episodes):

The ten episode second season will premiere in Spring 2019.

Sony premiered footage from both the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which showed the many different incarnations of the Webbed Wonder (including Spider-Ham!), as well as a new trailer for Venom which included footage from Riz Ahmed’s Riot, Tom Hardy’s nemesis in the movie. Neither trailer has yet been officially released.
