Paramount TV and Anonymous’ adaptation of Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles will be arriving on Hulu.
As yet there’s no showrunner, after Bryan Fuller’s departure, but Rice’s son Christopher will be executive producer.
He confirmed the news on his mother’s Facebook page: “THE VAMPIRE CHRONICLES is coming in for a landing at Hulu, the Emmy-winning broadcaster that brought us one of the most seminal literary TV adaptation of our time, The Handmaid’s Tale.” The 11-book series began with Interview with the Vampire in 1976.
