Superman and Amityville Horror star Margot Kidder has died, aged 69.
The Canadian actress played the role of Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve’s Superman in the four films from 1978 to 1987, and made a two-episode appearance in the Superman prequel series Smallville as Bridgette Crosby. Her other genre work included Black Christmas and Halloween II (the Rob Zombie version) as well as an episode of Tales from the Crypt, The Hunger and Earth: Final Conflict.
