In 1978, science fiction was turned upside down by the arrival of Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In 2018, the fortieth anniversary was celebrated with The Hexagonal Phase, based on Eoin Colfer’s novel And Another Thing… and incorporating a lot of previously unheard material by Adams. The 3 hours of the radio series were only the beginning – now an extended version is available on CD and thanks to those lovely people at Penguin Random House, we have five copies to give away.

To win a copy, just answer the following simple question:

Which Doctor Who story by Douglas Adams has just been released as a Target paperback?

A) Shada

B) The Pirate Planet

C) City of Death

Simply send your answer – A, B, or C – to scifibulletin@gmail.com with the subject line DIODES  along with your name and address and the following code (which will change regularly) 836 to arrive before 0001 on Tuesday May 7th, 2018. This competition is only open to readers in the UK and Eire.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: The Hexagonal Phase is available now from BBC Audio.
