Humans star Gemma Chan has been cast as Minn-Erva in the new Captain Marvel movie, currently shooting.

Chan tweeted that she’d wrapped on the third series of Humans on February 24, and the news of her Marvel role followed swiftly after. Marvel have yet to officially comment, but Chan tweeted:

In the comics, Minn-Erva aka Doctor Minerva is a Kree geneticist and a spy. The film stars Bree Larson as Marvel, and will open on March 6, 2019 in the UK, March 9 in the US.
