Bryan Fuller has departed from another series, citing creative differences.
Fuller and Bones creator Hart Hanson were working on Apple’s new version of Amazing Stories but in what’s described as an “amicable split” Fuller has left the show, with executive producer Hanson following shortly after. According to reports, Fuller envisaged a darker Black Mirror type of series which was not what Apple were after. The reboot was originally set to go at NBC but moved to Apple last year.
This is the third show that Fuller has left in the past few months: he recently parted company with Star Trek Discovery and American Gods, after his visions for the shows did not align with others’.
