The Audible series of The X-Files are among the finalists for the 2018 Audie Awards, honouring the best titles in audio publishing.

Cold Cases, adapted by Dirk Maggs from the comics by Joe Harris and Chris Carter, is up for both the Multi-Voiced Performance Award and the Science Fiction Award. Big Finish’s Cicero pilot, written by David Llewellyn, is one of those shortlisted for Best Audio Drama.

Other genre finalists include Stephen Fry’s rendition of the Sherlock Holmes canon, adaptations of Dracula and The Handmaid’s Tale (which is nominated in two separate categories), Neil Gaiman’s reading of his own Norse Tales, and Jonathan Maberry and George A. Romero’s Nights of the Living Dead: An Anthology as well as all those nominated in the specific Fantasy and Science Fiction sections:
