Jeremy Wilkin, the voice of Virgil Tracy for the second season and feature films of Thunderbirds, has died aged 87.
In addition to his role on Thunderbirds, Wilkin also played Captain Ochre and the unMysteronised Captain Black for Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and Skydiver navigator Lt. Gordon Maxwell on UFO. His other genre work included Kellman on Doctor Who’s Revenge of the Cybermen and Dev Tarrant in the opening episode of Terry Nation’s Blake’s 7. He could also be seen in two episodes of The New Avengers as well as Robert Holmes’ Undermind serial from the 1960s.
