We saw Monica Reyes during the first of the X-Files event series, but there’s a chance that Robert Patrick’s John Doggett may also be returning.
According to TV Line, Patrick was set to appear in an early episode of series 11 but a scheduling conflict with his show Scorpion precluded his appearance, and meant Chris Carter had to rework the script without him. However, Carter noted, “That’s not to say you won’t see him this season…”
Reyes and Doggett appeared during the latter years of the original series, with both also featuring in the IDW Series 10 comics, recently adapted for audio.
