Deadline are reporting that Millennium Films intend to bring Sheena, Queen of the Jungle back into cinemas.
The comic book character was created in 1937, four years before Wonder Woman, and first appeared in cinemas in a movie starring former Charlie’s Angel (and then future Bond girl) Tanya Roberts. Small screen versions appeared in the 1950s, with Irish McCalla (right) and the early 2000s, starring Gena Lee Nolin (above). In her original form, Sheena has the ability to communicate with animals and is an excellent hunter. A new comicbook series is about to appear from Dynamite Comics.
