It’s all change yet again on the Star Wars saga with news that Jurassic World’s Colin Trevorrow is no longer directing Episode IX.

“Lucasfilm and Colin Trevorrow have mutually chosen to part ways on Star Wars: Episode IX. Colin has been a wonderful collaborator throughout the development process but we have all come to the conclusion that our visions for the project differ. We wish Colin the best and will be sharing more information about the film soon,” read the official statement.

Trevorrow joins a long list of directors who have been replaced on the new iterations of the saga: Josh Trank was meant to be directing one of the standalone films; Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were replaced by Ron Howard for the Han Solo movie out next year;  and Tony Gilroy came in to assist with rewrites and reshoots on Rogue One.
