Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

A new female-led horror anthology series is in development for the CW.

The Black Rose Anthology will be produced by Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen’s Flower Films, former co-showrunner of MTV’s Scream: The TV Series Jill Blotevogel and CBS TV Studios. According to the report at Deadline, Blotevogel will write the pilot and the series will “explore some of humanity’s deepest fears from a woman’s unique perspective. Classic themes of terror will be tackled via vignettes about guilt, jealousy, repression, paranoia, insanity, sexual obsession and survival through a modern and distinctly feminine lens.”
