This is Us’ Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are set to write and direct the Joker and Harley Quinn movie for Warner Bros.

Unlike the Joker movie discussed yesterday, this would be part of the expanded DC movie universe, with Jared Leto and Margot Robbie reprising their roles from Suicide Squad. According to one source, the film will be “an insane and twisted love story. When Harry Met Sally on benzedrine.” The plan is to shoot this straight after the Suicide Squad sequel.
