A Galaxy Quest TV series is back on the cards at Amazon, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Paul Scheer will be penning the new incarnation of the affectionate Star Trek spoof that had looked as if it might not happen following the death of Alan Rickman in 2016. It’s unknown whether any of the original cast would be involved with the series, although star Tim Allen is now available following the end of his series, Last Man Standing. Original director Dean Parisot was originally attached to the new project, but it’s not yet clear if he will still be involved.
