The long awaited adaptation of William Gibson’s seminal cyberpunk novel Neuromancer will be helmed by Deadpool’s Tim Miller, according to Deadline.
Miller stepped away from the Deadpool sequel earlier this year and is currently working with James Cameron on a new version of The Terminator, designed to come out after the rights revert to Cameron in 2019. No writer is yet attached to the Neuromancer adaptation.
The original novel came out the same year as Cameron’s first Terminator movie, 1984, and follows a washed up computer hacker hired to carry out the ultimate hack.
