Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Cloak & Dagger’s Gina Prince-Bythewood has been set by Sony to direct the second Spider-Man spin-off, Silver & Black.

The film folllows the adventures of two characters created within the Spider-Man comics: Silver Sable and the Black Cat. Silver Sable is a mercenary who runs a company that hunts war criminals while Black Cat, aka Felicia Hardy, is an acrobatic cat burglar who has become involved romantically with Spider-Man over the years. No casting has been announced although Felicity Jones did make a brief appearance as Hardy in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Prince-Bythewood will rework the original script by Christopher Yost prior to shooting starting later this year.
