Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Stanley Tucci has been cast in the feature adaptation of Tim Lebbon’s novel The Silence.

According to the exclusive report at Deadline, he joins Kiernan Shipka in John Leonetti’s movie which relocates Lebbon’s tale of creatures that force the human race to be silent in order to survive to New Jersey. Principal photography begins in September.

Tucci’s previous genre credits include the first season of Sky Atlantic’s Fortitude, which featured unusual wasp-like creatures in its second year.
