Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD won’t be returning in its normal slot, ABC has announced.

At the upfronts, the network revealed its schedule for the autumn and Marvel’s Inhumans will now air on Friday evenings at 9 p.m. with Agents of SHIELD taking over the slot after the eight episodes have aired. SHIELD has a full 22 episode order for the fifth season, and is expected to start in January.
