The long wait is over for Exorcist fans: Fox has confirmed that the show is returning for a second year.
“Just a little excited,” Ben Daniels tweeted, while series creator Jeremy Slater added “Thanks to all the fans who kept hope alive and helped spread the word. We couldn’t have done it without your support!”
“Season two of the contemporary psychological TV thriller will open a new chapter of the iconic franchise,” says the official Fox release confirming that the show’s back, although as yet there’s no confirmation of how many episodes, who will be returning, or the setting for the new season – Sci-Fi Bulletin will keep you up to date with this as it’s announced.
