According to new reports, Game of Thrones and Doctor Who star Maisie Williams is set to star in the latest X-Men spin-off, New Mutants.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Williams wiill be playing Wolfsbane, a mutant who has problems with her own powers because of her religious beliefs. Joining her will be Anya Taylor-Joy as Colossus’ sister, Magik, who has harnessed sorcery and uses teleportation discs.

New Mutants is expected to start shooting in July; its release date was recently set by Fox as April 13, 2018. Josh Boone is directing from a script he wrote with Knate Lee.
