Fox has decided to close the doors on Sleepy Hollow.
The show never recovered from a move to Friday nights during the third year – a slot it occupied for its fourth season also – and a reboot , relocating the series to Washington DC, didn’t take. Despite strong overseas sales, the network elected to pull the plug.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every actor, writer, director, producer and incredible crew on all their endless hard work. But it’s the fans that made the show truly come alive and to them I owe the biggest debt,” co-creator Phillip Iscove said on Twitter.
It’s not the only Fox show definitely cancelled – Rosewood, which featured Being Human’s Sam Huntingdon as a regular special guest star, has also reached the end of the road.
