The new film version of Stephen King’s IT is only four months away, and New Line released some early footage to MTV.

The scene introduces the core group of youngsters, and their encounter with something in the sewers.

Andrés Muschietti is directing from a screenplay adapted by Chase Palmer & Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. It opens September 8.
