Maybe. But what’s for sure is that these latex marvels are showing their age and need some TLC before they crumble away.
Before it shuts its doors one final time this summer, the Doctor Who Experience is commissioning monster maestro Mike Tucker to restore one final classic Doctor Who monster, and you can cast your vote to make a difference.
Last summer, the Morbius Creature (The Brain of Morbius) and a Mandrel (Nightmare of Eden) were chosen from a shortlist, and you can see them in their restored glory at the venue (as well as our photos).
You can also see the monsters in their current sorry state at the Experience to decide who deserves your all-important tick in the box.
Choose from the following (in chronological order of appearance):
Yeti – The Web of Fear
Silurian – Warriors of the Deep
Sea Devil – Warriors of the Deep
Drathro – The Mysterious Planet
Vervoid – Terror of the Vervoids
Haemovore – The Curse of Fenric
By going to http://www.doctorwho.tv/whats-new/article/the-classic-who-restoration-project-is-back/ and voting by 5pm On Friday 5th May or in person at the Experience by 5pm on Saturday 6th May, you can influence which creature will be revealed in July.
